New Mercies Deliverance Church
is a small but growing Christian fellowship, established
in Magnolia, NJ in 2000.
Led by Pastors George and Deborah Carmichael,
New Mercies Deliverance Church offers many ministries for
people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to
strengthen their relationship with Christ. Our growth and
fellowship opportunities include: Men and Women's Ministries,
Outreach Ministry, Praise Dance Ministry, Singles Ministry
and Youth Ministry.
Our History
New Mercies began in September, 1995 with a radio broadcast
hosted by the Reverends George and Deborah Carmichael
on WTMR, 800 AM. As Reverends George and Deborah expounded
the Word of God and ministered to the needs of people,
the New Mercies ministry began to grow rapidly. In 1997,
a bible study began at the Somerdale Community Center
in Somerdale, NJ with some of the callers to the radio
program.
New Mercies Deliverance Church was formally organized
and held its first worship service on May 28, 2000; sharing
a facility with the Magnolia United Methodist Church in
Magnolia, NJ. In May 2001, New Mercies moved into a building
of its own along with a parsonage at 200 West Lincoln Avenue
in Magnolia, NJ.
The church continues to grow spiritually and has added
many ministries to support the community at-large including
street evangelism, hospital and home-bound visitations,
women and men's fellowship groups and an active youth ministry.
New Mercies Deliverance Church has worked to help many
receive salvation and deliverance from destructive habits
and healing through the power of the Holy Ghost. The church
continues to open its doors to all who wish to experience
a new life through Jesus Christ.
