Our Ministries
Christian ministries serve to edify the local church and equip Believers to reach the unsaved. NMDC ministries work together to provide a multitude of services to the Body of Christ. They are listed below in alphabetical order and placement does not indicate any rank or level of importance.

Altar & Communion Workers
Altar workers assist in ministering to those persons who come forward for prayer and Communion workers prepare components for the monthly communion ordinance.

Audio-Visual Ministry
The A/V Team is responsible for all audio and video recordings and the maintenance and performance of the PA system and projection equipment.

Children's Ministry
The Children’s Ministry teaches infants and children the Word of God with the same emphasis on knowledge and understanding as given in adult education.

Christian Cinema Ministry
Christian Cinema is a regular part of the Family Night Friday schedule. Once a month, a film is selected that illustrates Christian principles, encourages spiritual growth and entertains the whole family.

Dance Ministry
Skilled and anointed individuals perform liturgical dance periodically as an act of worship during worship services and special events at NMDC.

Facilities/Maintenance Ministry
Members of the Facilities/Maintenance Ministry maintain all NMDC buildings and property and set up for all special events.

Food Pantry Ministry

The New Mercies Deliverance Church Food Pantry first opened its doors in June, 2009. In the spirit of Christian love and service, the pantry opens the 3rd Friday of each month to provide emergency food assistance to neighborhood residents who are experiencing hardship and need a helping hand,.

Greeters/Ushers Ministry
Greeters/ushers direct, escort and provide information to members and guests at each worship service and special event.

Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Team coordinates and provides refreshments for NMDC fellowship functions.

Higher Heights Youth Ministry
Higher Heights addresses the special ministry needs of teenagers through group meetings, conferences and special outings.

Men of Integrity
The Men of Integrity creates a strong bond of brotherhood and unity among men to enhance their spiritual growth through regular group meetings, fellowship breakfasts and Super Bowl events.

Outreach/Evangelism Ministry
The Outreach Team proclaims the message of the Gospel to the unsaved through street evangelism, community service programs and follow-up care to provide natural and spiritual help to new Believers.

Single's Ministry
The Single's Ministry guides and educates unmarried Christians in the development and enhancement of their Christian lifestyle and personal relationship with God.

Women's Fellowship
Our Women’s Fellowship ministers to the special needs of women through group meetings, conferences and special outreach events including Mother’s Day Lunch and Christmas Fellowship.
