Statement
of Faith
This church accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient
rule for faith and practice and for the purpose of maintaining general unity,
adopts the following statement of fundamental truths:
|
 |
| 1. |
We
believe the Bible to be the inspired
and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. |
| 2. |
We
believe that there is one God; eternally existent
in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and
God the Holy Spirit. |
| 3. |
We
believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ,
His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His
ascension to the right hand of the Father and in
the blessed hope of His personal, visible, future
return to this earth to receive to Himself, His
blood-bought church that it may be with Him forever. |
| 4. |
We
believe that the only means of being cleansed from
sin is through repentance and faith in the precious
blood of Christ. |
| 5. |
We
believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is
absolutely essential for personal salvation. |
| 6. |
We
believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the
cross and that it provides healing of the human
body in answer to believing prayer. |
| 7. |
We
believe that, according to Acts 2:4, the baptism
of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking
in other tongues, is given to Believers who ask
for it. |
| 8. |
We
believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit
by whose indwelling the Christian, enables them
to live a holy life. |
| 9. |
We
believe in the resurrection of both the saved and
the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other
to everlasting damnation. |
| 10. |
We
believe in water baptism by immersion and observance
of the Lord’s Supper. |

Salvation
FAQs
Q: What
is salvation and why get saved?
A: We believe in
hell and eternal retribution. The one who physically dies
in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally
lost (Revelation 19:20). Salvation is redemption from eternal
damnation and restoration back to God (Mark 16:16). We
believe man is a created being made in the likeness and
image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall,
sin came into the world. "All have sinned and
come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Q: How do
I get saved?
A: We believe man's
first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh
repentance. The new birth (being born-again) is necessary
to all men, and when fulfilled produces eternal life (II
Corinthians 7:10). We believe that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God and that He was born of a virgin, was crucified,
died, was buried, and on the third day He arose from the
dead and ascended on high where He took His seat at the
right hand of God the Father Almighty until His enemies
become His footstool (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Q: Do I
need to be baptized?
A: We believe in
water baptism by immersion, which is a direct commandment
of Jesus and is for Believers only. (Acts 2:38; Acts 16:33;
Matthew 28:19)
Q: What
about speaking in tongues?
A: We believe in
the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the
Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues
as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. (Acts 2:38-39)
Q: Now that
I'm saved, what's next?
A: We believe the
Bible teaches that without Holiness no man shall see the
Lord. The doctrine of Sanctification is a definite, yet
progressive work of grace (Hebrews 12:14).
Salvation
Prayer
If you are ready to make a sincere decision to accept Jesus
Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can be saved right
now. Read the following prayer:
“Heavenly Father,
I come to You in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. You
said in Your Word that whosoever shall call upon the
Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Father,
I am calling on Jesus right now. I believe He died on
the cross for my sins, that He was raised from the dead
on the third day, and He's alive right now. Lord Jesus,
I am asking You now, come into my heart. Live Your life
in me and through me. I repent of my sins and surrender
myself totally and completely to You. Heavenly Father,
by faith I now confess Jesus Christ as my new Lord and
Savior from this day forward, I dedicate my life to serving
Him.”
